For Everyone Here....

in  the U.S.--I hope you all have a  very happy  Thanksgiving  Day  tomorrow with  your  friends  and  family.  I'm  planning  on  cooking  for my family tomorrow--I  hope  I  remember  how to!!   What  is  everyone  else  doing?--I'd  really  like  to  know.   I  personally  can't  wait  to  have  a  real  home  cooked  meal  with  all  the  trimmings.

Doesn't  this  look  delicious?!
And  remember  to  stop  back  on  Friday  for  my  blog  anniversary  giveaway!

  10. I will be roasting a turkey for the family. I like the "puttering" Thanksgiving morning getting the stuffing made while I watch the parade on the the kitchen TV. By the time the parade is over I have the turkey in the oven and I can relax and watch the dog show. Then shortly after noon all heck breaks loose and it is chaos the rest of the day and into the evening. LOL! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

  13. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, Diane! xo

It's still a little weird to me, having Thanksgiving so late- so close to Christmas. In Canada, Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday in October, which often falls around the same time as Columbus Day here in the States.

I am doing the whole she-bang too- two kinds of stuffing, whipped potatoes and gravy, cranberry sauce, three veggies, and a brined, roasted turkey! I will have to let you know how that works out... I haven't brined a turkey before.

I should take photos and put it on my blog if it turns out- I have three pies in the oven right now- cherry, Dutch apple, and pumpkin.

I am drooling too, 'cause I can smell the pies! lol
