So I'm going to have to do it all over again. Like I really have time to do this!! My original post was about me complaining that I didn't have time to blog or pretty much do anything on the internet---but I didn't mean that literally. So I'm going to make this short and simple. I'm very busy getting ready for my upcoming show season. As usual I wait until the last second and realize that I have to get busy!
So I've been making my popular sellers--boxes--
Bringing back my ladies from last year. My printer isn't good enough to make professional-like art prints, but it's perfect for using it this way. It's a great way of offering my art prints in a different way--so that they're still one of a kind.
These boxes start out as plain wood craft boxes--but these "blank canvases" never scare me like a real blank canvas. I really enjoy making them, and I never run out of ideas.
I've actually posted more on my Facebook Page (and probably more to come).
And before I leave I want to tell you about Cameron's giveaway at Paint Myself Pretty. It's her 100th post giveaway, and it's a good one. The giveaway is customized to your taste and she's offering more than one of her creations---she's a multi-talented artist--so go on over and enter your name HERE.
I'm going now--crossing my fingers that Blogger has no more problems. I want to take some time to enjoy our finally warm weather that we're having--even though I can hear thunder in the distance--I don't care--it's warm out and the windows are open!
: )
i actually didn't know blogger was in trouble and was happily posting an hour ago ... then i started reading other blogs only to discover i came back (after a 2 week break) just at the right time!!

ReplyDeleteciao, sei un'artista molto stravagante, inusuale e ricca di creatività,seguo con interesse il tuo blog, anch'io spesso sperimento tecniche e nuovi modi, ma tu sei un vulcano di idee. Complimenti.
ReplyDeleteCiao a presto.
I lost one post and the comments from another one. I knew blogger was down, but didn't bother checking to see why. Your boxes are always fun. You have a very unique style that I would recognize ANYWHERE. I'm glad to see these are here and ready to be sold. Have a great weekend, too.
ReplyDeleteI lost stuff to the blogger goblins too, but thankful they didn't ditch it all!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful boxes, and here's to a very good show season :-)
Your boxes are beautiful, as always and it's easy to see why they are so popular! Yes, that whole Blogger outage was really annoying. I didn't have your bad luck to be posting when it happened but it changed my plans when I wanted to post and couldn't post. I sure hope they have it fixed and that is behind us now!
ReplyDeleteI love the black, white and red box!! I am going over and ask to be your friend on facebook. I don't go to face book very often-for some reason I can't get my blog to link to facebook--it says it is linked, but then nothing ever appears!!
ReplyDeleteHi Diane,
ReplyDeleteAlways great to see what you're up to, coming up with new and exciting, colourful designs.
Love these boxes, I'm sure they'll walk out the door at your show!
Happy creating,
Hugs,
Anna
Hi Diane! Your boxes are beautiful - I really and truly love them. Hope they all sell for you. :) I had the Blogger Blues, too. I ended up following myself and then copying and pasting my post from Google Reader. LOL Don't ask!!! Then my original post came back, but all the comments were gone. Anyhow, I hope you have a really great weekend!!! Theresa
ReplyDeleteMy latest post DID come back, but I lost all of my lovely followers comments! Bummer!!! They had to have had a catastrophic failure - they were down for over 24 hours! Let's keep our fingers crossed that everything is back to normal!!!
ReplyDeleteYour boxes are so beautiful, Diane! I hope you have a sell out show!!! Hugs, Terri xoxoxo
I always love your boxes Diane! The one with the red hearts is my fave!!
ReplyDeleteOh blogger ate my post too... We are all getting way too dependent on machines right? Go enjoy your sun for me as mine has left for rain I do believe. Love the boxes!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful boxes, Diane! I think my fave would be the red and black one...simply stunning!
ReplyDeleteBtw, Blogger staff say they will gradually restore all the lost posts...not sure about comments though. I hadn't posted for a while and the one day I went to do a new post, Blogger was down....just my luck! lol

Hey girl, love your boxes,I can't pick a favorite. I know what you mean about blank canvases, every time I do a canvas it never comes out but if I just work on a piece of paper or wood it usually comes out. I think its in my head.

ReplyDeleteYour boxes are nothing short of gorgeous, pretty, and blingy goodness!
Diane, they are gorgeus- I love how they are allike, and then totally different ,all- and I love the added bling :)

ReplyDeleteI think these boxes are a sure sell. I'll be anxious to hear how sales are at the upcoming shows. The economy, as far as art sales go, seems to be improving here..sort of up and down though. I too, was always show motivated-best work came just before I left for my shows. Good luck!
