A Few More Things.....

......before  I  leave  again  for   my  weekend  show.   I  painted  another  piece  of  furniture--

......I'm  really  happy  with  this  one.    I  think  I  like  my  pieces  better  when  I'm  in  a  hurry--no  over-thinking.

A  couple  of  altered  cigar  boxes--

......with   help  from  Graphic 45  ABC  Primer  paper  and  Tim Holtz  grungeboard  letters

.....and....

....with   help  from  my  own  art  and  these  very  cool  large  glass  knobs  that  I  found  at  the  wholesale  show  from  last  month  that  I  used  for  the  feet.

And  an  old  cupboard  door  that  I  turned  sideways--



So  I've  been  obsessively   checking  the  weather  for  this  weekend,  and  so  far  it  looks  good.....but......  you  know  the  weather  forecasts.   I'm  keeping  my  fingers  crossed  for  a  better  weekend.  I'll  check  in  when  I  get  back!

And  one  more  thing....you'll notice  on  my  sidebar  that  I  have a new  magazine  there.  It's  Stampington's brand new  magazine  called  Mingle  which  will be  premiering in October--you  can  click  on  it  for  more  info.   And  I  am  very  happy  to  say  that  I  am  going  to  receive  2  copies  from  Stampington.  One  is  for  me  and  the  other  is  for  one  of  you  reading  this--I'll  be  giving  it  away,  and  I'll  also  be  reviewing  the  new  magazine  and  letting  everyone  know  what  I  think--so  make  a  note  of  this!

    Its funny how you can get more done when you're under pressure,I think you're right about the over thinking part. Love all your new pieces.Table is Gorgeous. Good luck at the show.

    I especially like the boxes. They are awesome. Those glass knobs are the greatest. I've got my fingers crossed for your weather being good, too. And am so happy you get to be part of the Stampington Mingle giveaway. Lucky gal.

    That table top is just such a happy thing - I'd love to have it in my conservatory:)

    I think my favourite though is the door. Just amazingly original and totally beautiful

    First, thanks for your sweet comment, but what are you talking about, lol?!! You said the armoire would've been a big scary blank canvas for you?! No way Diane! Look at all the amazing things you create! This table is gorgeous!! I can't imagine you being intimidated by any type of canvas! Beautiful work as always. Hope the weather behaves for you.
