So what do these 3 things have in common?? Well, to start with I've been painting some new owls and roosters, starting with the backgrounds first--
These backgrounds were as much fun to make as the roosters and owls were. The roosters I painted on 10 x 20 canvases--one of my favorite sizes to work with.
But these 2 guys were just the start of the canvases--here are the finished pieces--
And next were the owls on 6 x 6 canvases--
So much FUN to make!!
And I'm taking all of these guys with me this Sunday, the 9th here--
The historic B & O Railroad Station/ now a banquet hall. It's the Artists of the Rustbelt Winter Market. This will be my first time participating in this show--looks like a very cool venue--and I can't wait to get out of hibernation!
So if there's any local people from the area reading my blog post--I hope to see you there!
These are great. I'm really drawn to the rooster eyes for some reason.
