More Journaling, an Early Birthday Present and HEY--Let's All Go To These Fun Places

Yes,  I've  been   playing  around  in  my  journal  again.  It's  so  nice  to  do  anything  that  you  want  and  not  have  to  worry  about  the  outcome,  because  it's  your  journal  and  that's  what  it's  here  for.  Plus,  I  find  that I  discover  something  new  that  I  like  that  I  probably  wouldn't  even  have  tried.  I  love  these  pages--


I  did  alot  of  layering  with  paints,  collage,  sketching  and  doodling--

This  was  fun  to  do---knowing  that  alot  of  it  was  going  to  be  covered  up,  and  deciding  on  what  I  was  going  to use,  and  also  being  willing  to  cover  up  things  that  I  really  liked--















And  what  fun  it  is  to  layer  the  Caran d'Ache watercolor  crayons  with  acrylics--layer  after  layer--

Love  this!!

Already,  I  am  enjoying  looking  through  my  journal,  and  anxious  to  see  what's  next!

And  yes,  Saturday  is  my  birthday,  and  I  was  very  happy  to  receive  an  early  present  from  Zasra.  She  is  an  Esty  seller  and  she  included  me  in  her  treasury  that  you  can  see  HERE!   And  while  you're  at  it,  check  out  her  shop--very  funky  Bohemian  clothing  and  original  jewelry,  and  also  eco-friendly  too--thank  you  Zasra!!

    Those pages are simply gorgeous! Though I paint and create from a need within, I rarely keep anything I do...it's all for everyone else...

    What a special thing to do to celebrate the artist and woman you are....to share, but more importantly, to keep......a documentation of your thoughts, feelings and talent :)

    WOW! What a nice surprise to see the House of Art button here! HOW COOL is that?! THANK YOU for your help in spreading the word. The girls have worked SO HARD in putting this site together and I know it's really going to do well - and they get nothing out of it but the feeling of doing something really positive for our community.

    I really enjoyed seeing the process, I like it in all stages, yet I know when one has something good going it is hard to stop, and your beginnings are so inspirational, then to see the colors start and grow into the richness you always achieve gives me a vision of you working in a speedy way.
