I took a few photos on Sunday morning before the festival started (it's the only real time I could get out)
Love those carved tree stumps!!
And here's a fun booth--
These taller moose were about 6 feet!
Okay, so remember the tables from my last post--well, I still have them! It's not easy to sell furniture at this time of year, when shoppers have the mindset of Christmas. The only furniture that sold was a smaller table and 5 chairs--all for Christmas. I'm still happy though, and I have one more show to try to sell these 2 pieces. Plus, I did get to make 2 more art pieces from them--
These pieces are fairly quick to make. Once you have your original art, you can just play around with prints of it. I'm planning on going into more detail about how I use my art to make new art in my next post.
And like I said before, the weather was perfect, but it was pretty cold in the mornings. I have to say that the best investment that I made this year for this show was my fingerless gloves that I purchased from Theresa. They really work!! My hands actually stayed warm while keeping my fingers free--so Theresa, if you're reading this--thank you--I really love them (and they're cute looking too : )

Those carved tree stumps are amazing! :)) congrats on the sales again. you're doing great. I'm sure the 2 table pieces will go as well. Love it all!
Great. So glad to hear that the shows are coming back around and that you did well again. My artists friends here tell me the same thing. I hope that is a good sign that the economy is bouncing back a bit.
Anxious to see how you use your originals for other artwork.
beautiful weekend and interesting work!!!
Big kisses.
Congrats on another good weekend at the show Diane. Looking forward to seeing how you transform your original work into new works....
I am so glad they went well for you Diane.
The fairs here in the UK are still very low on attendance, i'm glad I didn't partake this year, but i'm hoping it will pick up here for next year though :)

Love the autumn feeling and congrats on another good show! Glad to hear things are bouncing back a bit. Very cool carved stumps and am looking forward to more on your art pieces - they're boo-tifuL!
Glad you did well! I have a pair of those gloves and love them.
Those tree stumps have got to be hard to do. They're really neat looking. Love your two new pieces too. I'm glad you did well and the weather was nice. I hope you're right about the economy!
So happy for you that things went well. Those carved stumps are amazing. The moose made me smile. Your artwork and tables are beautiful. It will be fun to learn how you do them.
Congratulations on another successful weekend! Your two new pieces are beautiful; the lace on the frame of the floral piece is a gorgeous touch. While your furniture pieces haven't sold, I can only imagine they have attracted alot of attention, as they are beautiful. I'm excited to hear what type of printer, paper, and software you use to create your complimentary pieces! Wishing you a restful week, Diane; I can only imagine your tired ... but also can't imagine you resting for too long, ;). Cyber Hugs ~~ J
Great pictures Diane! Glad to hear you had good weather and a great turnout! How cool are those carved tree stumps!
You work is beautiful!
:)
I am so glad you did well at this craft fair! I am sure the tables will sell. You are probably right, people are thinking about Christmas gifts. I can't wait for you next post. I have some darling Victorian chairs that were my mother's that are mahogany and coated with varnish and I have no idea what to do to get them ready for some bright colors.
beautiful area for sure. i wish they had such great craft fairs here in Utah! Love your "new" art..as usual. Have a great week :-)
So happy to hear that you had another successful weekend, Diane! And it's good news too, to hear that the economy seems to be coming back. (Doing a cautious happy dance!) I'm looking forward to your next post! Hugs, Terri xoxo
congratulations diane...as i said before, it's so much work, but a labor of love...which always shows in your work! i love what looks like the little "poodle touch" and the bottom center of the your one piece.
enjoyed looking around where you were, and the carvings are outstanding! :)
What a fun time you had. And it sure is fall there. Love seeing all the art! Beautiful!
I'm so happy that the shows went well for you! I wish I could have been there. I love the way they have the show set up...so cute!
I use Derwent watercolour pencils and I have been so happy with them! I'm looking forward to experimenting more. I just ordered a few neocolor crayons and pitt pens, along with my pencil order...can't wait to try them too!
Those prints look great! I love how you put them together! Glad to hear about the economy too! Take care!
Jennifer:)
Happy you did well!! Omg....those tree stumps are so cool!!
Sounds like you had a fun time - I'm attending one at my son's school, but I doubt we'll get a huge turnout - and it's only for 2 hours! I was about to say I'd love to stop by one of your fairs, but then I'd end up spending all my money!!!
So glad that your show was a success again. You deserve it. I absolutely love those tree stumps! Thanks for stopping by my party! :)
Love those stumps!
I need to make some prints.
Thanks for the inspration Diane.
I'm happy you had a good weekend. I bet your gloves were cute too!
Cheers,
Holly
I wish we had fairs like that here! I am so glad you had a wonderful weekend!
Very nice photos. Glad your weekend was good. Enjoy your week.
You must be a little tired, weeks of pushing and then going. Glad sales were satisfactory, glad for good weather and the enjoyment of this wonderful fair. Your work is done so well and so pretty.
Enjoy the photos a lot, and wishing you stamina for the next show and what you want to get ready. I think of your boses often. I was thinking of you at dinner when we were talking about the white insulators used years ago for the electric fence. The were ceramic and white and I thought how good they would be for the knob on your boxes.
Thanks for sharing the beautiful photos, love the carving trees!Congratulation on an new successful weekend at the show and the both gorgeous pieces you made.
Hugs Anja

The arts and craft shows you go to look like so much fun. I haven't seen any like that here in Utah. There must be some around somewhere, but not in this area.
I love your creations and the carved items you saw are amazing! Looks like a fun weekend! Hugs! ♥
Love the bird piece and looking forward to your post about making more art out of your own art; I've been experimenting with that a lot lately so I can incorporate my artdolls into other mediums
Glad to hear that you had a nice weekend.
You seem to have pretty busy weekends~
Love your work as always~ :)
This looks like a fun venue for an art fest. Glad the tide has turned on sales.
I've got a blog award to pass to you here

I am reading this! I'm so happy you are enjoying the gloves. There's nothing better than fingerless gloves - I am SO addicting to wearing them as well as making them. :) Anyhow, I am glad to hear that you had another successful sales weekend. :) And those tree stumps are soooo cool. Thanks for sharing all the great pictures. Theresa
