More Angel Love and a Pink Flamingo

Okay  so  at  the  end  of  this  week  I'm  off  for  my  final  show  of  the  season,  and  I  have  to  say  that  I'll   be  glad--I  am  burnt  out!!   I  had  to  make  one  more  angel  though--

And  I  had  one  more  chair  left,  and  that's  where  I  put  her--

But.... I  also  made  her  into  a  piece  of  wall art--

With  an   up-cycled   $1.00  frame  that  I  spray-painted  copper.  A  very  easy  peasy  with  a  lemon  squeezy!

And  remember  my  first  angel  that  started  it  all  that  I  showed  you  here?   Well,  she  was  meant  to  go  here--

I  love  my  little  group  of  angels  that  I'm  taking  with  me!

So  what  about  the  pink  flamingo?   Well   on  Kathy's  blog  Kluless,  she  mentioned  that  she  loved  flamingos  and  that  she  had  a  collection  of  them.   I  like  flamingos  too,  but  I  don't  really  collect  them,  but  I  do  have  a  couple,  and  one  in  particular  that  I  bought  years  ago  at  a  craft  fair  that  I  wanted  to  show  her.  I  really like  it.   So  Kathy--here's  my  favorite  pink  flamingo  (although  it's  a  bit  faded  with age)

I just can't get over how beautiful and wonderfully original these all are, I can't image you will come back home with any of them! They are all going to sell. They are going to add so much to the ambience of people's homes.

What adorable angels (and I absolutely love that flamingo - when my son was little he called them 'bingos'). I've been buying old frames to upcycle too. I wanted to put my art in, but almost all are completely the wrong size. Still, at least I have the perfect excuse to make more art!

Oh, my. Absolutely breathtaking. I love that chair. Just fabulous.

Last lap! I remember, back in the days we did the holiday bazzaars, that we would be so anxious for the season to start and then soooo happy to see it finished for the year! Time for some well-deserved rest.
I love your flamingo with the little legs dangling over the edge of the shelf!!

They all look wonderful and very much in the holiday spirit! It is good to have the shows over & done with so you can focus on yourself and your family's celebrations over the next six weeks with no other obligations intruding. Good luck with your show (although I can't imagine you'll need it--nothing you do requires luck for it to sell!).

Your angels are so beautiful. I'm glad that chair is all decorated like that because I'd have an awfully hard time sitting in it what with that beautiful angel peering up from the seat. :)

Even the mind gets tired, and not just tired from the art work, from the thoughts of what will the people want, how will they respond and do they want things for all year or more Holiday things, and it seems I revisited it in my head a lot.

You have wonderful things I know if I saw them at a sale I would be wanting, the artwork and the colors are so good, so right, and I know you have a mix of today and yesterday in your variety.

So in a few days you will be able to put your thoughts to what is just in your head to paint and create because you want to.

it will be a good fair, people are starting to really feel the hype of the season and want things.
