More Sharing--Art and a Giveaway--And A New Etsy Listing

So  still  no  new  art  but  I do  have  more  art  that  I  can  share  with  you,  just  not  my  own .  To  start,  I  collect  Santas,  and  every  year  I'll  acquire  a  new  one,  and  this  year  I  found  one  from  one  of  my   favorite  bloggers--Heather  from  Audrey  Eclectic--

Don't  you  just  love  him?!   I've  been  trying  to  get  out  my  other  Santas  for  the  Holiday  season,  and  at  the  rate  I'm  going,  I'll  be  finished  decorating  sometime  in  January--maybe  even  February.   I'll   start  decorating  the  house,  and  then  I'll  get  side-tracked,  but  I'm  working  on  it.  Back  to  Heather's  Santa---he  most  definitely  belongs  here,  and  when  he  meets  the  other  Santas,  he'll   feel  right  at  home.  Make  sure  to   go  visit  Heather--if  you've  never  been  to  her  blog,  then  you're  in  for  a  treat.

And   I   treated  myself   to  a  Christmas  present  with  Sharon's  print  from  her  Etsy  shop--

LOVE!!

I've  already  framed  it  and  this  piece  titled  "Circus  Day"  is  ready  to  be  hung  in  my  studio.  I  can't  get  over  the  talent  and  creativity  that  Sharon  has!  You  can  see  more  of  her  very  unique  artwork  at  All  Norah's  Art  and  also  her  Etsy  shop,  where  she  also  offers  digital  collage  sheets  that  she's  made--pure  eye  candy.

And  in  my  last  post  I  showed  you  Mandy's  piece  that  I  won--the  beautiful  bird,  which  is  a  lino cut.   Well,  she's  having  another  giveaway  this  month  of  one  of  her  prints,  and  yes  I'm  entering  again--her  work  is  amazing--just  take  a  look  at  her  Etsy  shop!  And  you  can  go  here  for  her  giveaway.

Plus,  I've  added  a  new  item  to  my  Etsy  shop.  Last  week  I  had  my  first  sale  (thanks  Debby!)   It  was  my  Hippie  necklace,  so  I'm  putting  a  new  one  in  my  store.  This  one's  a  bit  different  than  the  last  one--

It's  on  a  linked  glass  bead  necklace  that  attaches  in   the  front  with  a  toggle  clasp.   This  little  Hippie  girl  and  her  friend  on  the  reverse  side   sure  are  getting  around.   I  can't  wait  until  everything  calms  down  so  I  can  explore  the  jewelry -making  world  more.   And  remember--everything  in  my  Etsy  shop  is  15%  off--the  code  word  is  CHRISTMAS.

And  one  more  thing.....Thank  You  Ansota  for  this....

I  like  this--I'm  a  Stylish  Blogger--Cool!!

So  I  better  get  back  to  my decorating  and  wrapping  presents,  and  hopefully  a  little  art  time  too!

Congratulations on your first Etsy sale. I bet it feels good. I can totally understand why you aren't making much art, and the art you are working on is still under wraps. I think you did so much to prepare for those shows, you are now in need of a real break. And it was good that you treated yourself to the lovely Santa and painting. You collect Santas like I collect trees. Like you, I try to get at least one new one each year.

I collect little birds for in my christmas tree. Lol I only have 5..guess my tree will be empty for a few years to come. If I have time I will make some.
