Still On The Go...but...A Little Time For Art

Yes  we've  still  been  busy  here  on  the  go  every  day--had  to  hit  the  stores  after  Christmas  (sales  are  too  good  to  pass  up),  visiting  family,  and  yesterday  we  were  here--

in  Cleveland  at  the  Rock  and  Roll  Hall  of  Fame.   We  always  go  here  every  couple  of  years,  and  they're  in  the  process  of  re-designing  it,  and  the  changes  are  good.   I  like  the  way  they  span  over  the  years,  (from  the  50's  till  now), but  mix  them  together  to  keep  the  interest  of  any  age  group.   And   they  always  have  the  top  2  floors (the peak part--it's  so  neat  inside--picture  taking,  not  allowed)  dedicated  to  one  artist  for  about  6  months  or  so.   This  time,  as  you  can  see,  it's  Bruce  Springsteen--not  a  big  fan  of  his--sorry.  It's  a  very  interesting  place  even  if  you're  not  a  big  rock  and  roll  fan--but  we  are--so  we  love  it!

BTW--look  at  the  snow--hardly  any--what's  with  that?  I think  they're  the  only  place  that  didn't  get  that  much.

BUT.....I've  been  able to make  a  little  time  for  art.   Here's  a  sneak  peek--

And  one  more  thing--a  couple  of  people  wanted  to  know  more  about  the  blog  book.  You  can  go  here  to  find  out  more.  I'm  so  glad  that  they  offer  this.  It's  so  great  to  have  an  actual  book  to  see  all  of  the  work  that  you  put  in  to  making  your  blog,  and  what  a  great  item  to  pass  down  to  your  family.

I am so glad to see a photo of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. My musician friend is originally from Cleveland and he has told me about it. BTW, we have had NO snow, no moisture, and today the temperature is supposed to be over 60F. Can you believe it, with all the snow in the west and the east?

You are such a tease. Those little birds are ADORABLE. I am sure I'm going to love the piece once you unveil it.

Happy holidays and here's to a great rest of your vacation.

Fun, at first glance I thought you were in Paris. I love your birds, hope you share the finished piece. I got the sweetest ornament from my hubby with a little birdie on it.
Happy Day to you Diane!

Hi Diane, I am so interested in your blog book and I know I want one also, they are so great and you post a lot of things about your art, and family, that just have to be saved in this form.

I see your enjoying your self having a little time to do other things and we all need that.

Wishing you the best new year, much inspiration and art plus all the other things you love.

Love your blog:) I found you via the Strathemore Journal workshop. I live in Norwalk, Ohio but am originally from Cleveland and yes you are right - we have almost no snow compared to the rest of the northeast! And I'm not sure how that happened either. Have a great New Year and I will be back to visit again!
