Etsy--A Giveaway--New Classes

Okay,  first  on  the  list--new  Etsy  listings.  I  inspired  myself  to  make  another  piece  like  the  ones  that  I  made  for  OWOH, but  instead  of  using  my  painted  papers,  I had  this  scrapbook  pack  from  Cosmo  Cricket  that  I wanted  to  use.   I  really  like  the  vintage  feel  of  them  with  the  patterns  and  most  definitely,  the  colors--

This  time  I  made  it  on  a  6 x 6  very  deep  wrapped  canvas  (almost  like  a  box).  I  really  love  using  these,  and  I  can  only  find  them  at  Dick  Blick.

Love these flower embellishments!    Thanks  once  again  to  K & Co.!

And  I  went  on  to  my  other  favorite  "canvas"

I  never  never  know  where  these  are  going  to  take  me,  but  I  had  this  old  cloth  tape  measure,  and  the  buttons   just  naturally  followed--

Very  fun!
I  go  into  more  detail  with  these  over  at  my  Etsy  shop,  if  you  want  to  know  more  : )

Okay, next  on  the  list--a  giveaway  over  at  Tara's (Aquamarine Art)

Aren't  these  great?!  These  are  cards  of  her  artwork--Love  her  work!!   So  just  go  on  over to her blog  and  leave  a  comment  for  her--that's  all  you  have  to  do,  and  also  wish  her  a  Happy  Birthday,  which  was  on  the  day  that  she  posted   this.  I  hope  you  had  a  fun  birthday  Tara  : )

And  last  of  all,  yes  I've  signed  up  for  2  new  class---I  just  couldn't  resist.  When  I  was  at  Jen's blog,  Sadie Inspired,  she  was  talking  about  Christy  Tomlinson's  new  class  She Art  that  starts  Feb. 28,  which  I  never  heard  about.  So  I  went  to  take  a  peek--

How could  I  possibly  turn  this  one  down!!   And  the  price is  right  too!!

And  after  seeing  all  of  you  different  bloggers  talk  about  Alisa  Burke's  Sketchbook Delight  combined  with  my  recent  obsession  with  sketching--how  could  I  resist?   I'm  very  excited  about  this  one!!

The box is super beautiful! How I wish I have it. I can already imagine what special things I would like to place in there. And based on your narration, I am convinced that it's really an art from the heart. Great art work, thanks for sharing.

Love the new box. I get my cradled boxes from Dick Blick too. Good prices and you are right, I haven't seen anyone else carry them.

Did you get a chance to see Moriah Butterfly's video of the crackling technique yet. She really does a good job of showing her technique.

I checked out the class you spoke of and it does look interesting.

Well of course, I come for just a minute t o see what you have been doing and suddenly 30 minutes have passed because you leave a lot of roads to investigate. Roads that always make me think...I want to do that, and I am sort of doing some of it only in a different looking way which is fine. Anyway it feels good to get the creative energy flowing and feel excited like I do when I come to visit.

Your work is you but you know how to make it a tiny bit different each time. I always love how vibrant your work looks.
