I love to collect them and I love to paint them. So I knew that I wanted to paint on another cupboard door for my show next week, and what better choice?!
My newest love--Rangers Distress Crackle Paint--in every distress ink color!
And you HAVE to have the layers!
And while I'm on the subject--this is one my favorite roosters from my collection. And guess where I found him?--Yep, that's right--a garage sale!
I love him--he's nice and tall too--about 12 inches. See, you never know what you'll find at a garage sale.
I forgot how much I enjoy painting roosters. I hope everyone liked my rooster , because there's more on the way.

There is something about them, they get one's attention with their brightness and personality.
People love them. I really like your found rooster, have never seen that design before. Your painting on the door is wonderful Diane. I bet your busy getting ready again. Also I am fond of the crackle, husband does not understand that, he thinks things should be smooth.
Have a nice Holiday weekend. I am going to see garden ant and other art at a sale put on by a guild Friday. Wish you were there.

Well, crummy crum, wouldn't you know. One more thing we have in common: I LOVE roosters and chickens, love ghost busters on TV, love survivor, love Bob and Oliver..... hmmmmm, I could keep going ..... hugs, ; )
Beautiful! What harmony the way the picture and frame come together! You say the Ranger Crackle Paint comes in different colors? And can be applied to different surfaces? I'm currently in a crackle paint experimentation phase and have not, as yet, tried Ranger. Thanks for sharing!
