A Sneak Peek

I  JUST  WANTED  TO  UPDATE  THIS  POST--THE  PARTY  DOESN'T  START  UNTIL  MIDNIGHT  TONIGHT,  SO  I'LL BE  BACK  TOMORROW (MONDAY)

If  you  hadn't  noticed  on  my  sidebar,  I  am  participating  in the  One  World  One  Heart  event  this  year.  It  starts  this  Sunday,  and  ends  on  Feb. 17.   This  is  the  first  time  I'll  be  joining  in,  and  this  is  also  the  last  year  that  this  event  will  be  happening.

Lisa  from  A  Whimsical  Bohemian  blog  is  the  one  we  must  thank  for  putting  this  together  for  the  5th  year.   Last  year,  I'm  pretty  sure  she  said  that  there  were  around  1000  participants---all  having  a  giveaway.   Nowhere  but  in  blogland  can  you  do  something  like  this--just  one  big  world-wide  party--so  much  fun!

So  since  I'm  swimming  in  painted  papers  at  the  moment,  I  knew  that  I  had  to  use  some  of  these  for  my  giveaway.   I  really  should  say  that  I'm  drowning  in  them,  not  only painted  ones,  but  scrapbook  papers  too.  I've  been  to  Michael's  (not  good).  Have  you   seen  the  K & Co.  Flora   and Fauna  new  line? and  not  just  the  papers,  but  the  ephemera and  all  of  the  other  little  embellishments  that  go  with  this  line--beautiful!!

So  here's  a  little  sneak  peek  of  my  giveaway  for  this  Sunday--

I  just  can't  get  over  how  much  I  like  cutting  up  my  painted  papers  for  collage.  Actually,  the  reason  that  I'm  not showing  you  more,  is  because  I'm  not  finished  yet......but  almost.  But  I do  know  one  thing  for  sure---there'll  be  more  than  one  giveaway!

So  if  you  want  to  take  part  in  this  event,  and  yes  you  can,  go  here  and  check  it  out.   See  you  all  on  Sunday!

I enjoy OWOH because it gives us all a chance to meet others you are in the creative process. I think Lisa did a great thing by introducing the idea and it took off. This is my second time and I regret not joining in the previous events because it is now over. I'll be posting mine on Sunday as well and then adding it to my sidebar for the attendees. It's fun.

Wow, what a fantastic blog. I am now a follower. I work on fabric, but same principles apply. I am moving more into mixed media. You are an inspiration.

Diane, your gypsy is to die for. I absolutely love her. If you don't mine, what kind of crackle did you use. I think I've tried all of them and get mixed results. I love the way yours looks! See you at OWOH! This is my second year and I love it.

I'm participating too and have to say I was so confused by the start date, I guess I'll leave mine up anyway, I hope that's within the rules. You can bet I'll be back for a chance at your giveaway.

I love nice papers too, and now after reading your post, I will have to check out that Flora and Fauna line, it sounds wonderful!

I seem to have jumped the gun. When I learned I was a day early, I already had comments, so have no idea if they would be there if I put my post back in draft mode.
