Poppy and Somerset Love

I'm  painting  poppies  again.   Last  time  I  painted  them  was  on  furniture  (you  can  see  them  HERE ).   But  this  time  I  decided  to  try  them  on  a  canvas--

 

 

 

 

I  think  I  have  a  new  love--painting  poppies!.....and  I  really  like  this  color  combo  too...

 

So  I  got  out  one  of  my  cupboard  doors  and  painted  some  more!

 

 

It's  going  to  be hard  to  let  these  go--they're  going  with  me  next  week  to  my  last  show  of  the  season--we'll  see  if  they  come  home  with  me  or  not.

And I can't believe that I'm saying this already--but I hope everyone celebrating Thanksgiving--has a very happy one!! (Where is the time going??) I love this holiday--family time--the best!

This  could  happen  to  me  everyday  and  I  would  still  get  just  as  excited!!   This   latest  issue  of  Somerset  Gallery  will  be  available  June  1.   This  makes  me  very  happy,  and  you  know  what  else  makes  me  happy?  My  daughter's  wedding  reception  went  very  well  without  any  problems  on  Saturday,  and  I'm  sooooooo  glad  that  all  is  getting  back  to  normal.
