I've been visiting Pinterest lately, and if you've been there too, you
know how it can be--you're looking for some inspiration, and
3 hours later, you're wondering where the time went. Needless
to say, I found some great inspiration there..
This time it was in the form of art quilts. I really admire this art form--but wouldn't know what to do with a sewing machine or needle and thread if you handed it to me.
So this is my version of an art quilt.....my paper quilt.
I started out with my 'fabrics'--
......I had an 18 x 18 birch cradle board that I decided to use for my 'quilt' surface--
I took my time when I pieced this 'quilt' together--I thoroughly enjoyed the process of putting it together. And in the end......
