As Promised--Another Giveaway

And this time, it's a 2 for 1.  There'll be 1 winner who will receive 2 things.  The first is a print of my

I put her on a 5 x 7 canvas and then framed her on an old frame that I had and collaged and embellished it.

And the next is this great book ( I'm trying to "downsize" my book collection--that's a laugh)

This is a wonderful read  for any type of artist.  It's by Rice Freeman-Zachery.  She's interviews 15 different artists on how they go about creating in hopes to inspire you to create.  A couple names that everyone will know are Claudine Hellmuth and Michael DeMeng.  This is a very  informative book and also great artwork inside too!

So all you have to do is leave a comment on this post, and if you're a follower, let me know, and I'll put your name in twice.  You have until next Wednesday, the 26th.

This is my way of saying a big THANK YOU to all of you guys for encouraging me with your comments, and also for helping me do what I set out to when I started this blog--to learn and to grow!!  Good luck everyone!

Diane, you are so generous! Your Queen of Hearts is breathtaking and I would LOVE to hang her in my studio- I'm rearranging right now and have a perfect spot. And I have heard of that book- it's very cool. Since I have only been in the States for just under two years, I don't have much of a book collection and that one would be a great addition!
I am a follower of your blog- and you of mine- thank YOU for all the kind words and encouragement you give me! xo

Oh my goodness, what a beauty! Love the way you incorporated the papers from the Queen of Hearts into her frame (or was it the other way around?). Your art never fails to bring a smile to my face, ;), and thus I always enjoy seeing a new post from you, . . . and another opportunity to visit "your porch." Wishing you a restful week, Diane!

Hi Diane,

Thanks so much for visiting and becoming a fan. I just checked your blog out and find it to be a place I want to visit often. Yes, Lake Erie was a place those of us from the Warren area gravitated to. I definitely remember practically living at Geneva on the Lake. It used to be a great hang out spot for teens, don't know if it still is.

(love your expression-Holy Moley-they don't use that down here in the south at all..I had even forgotten that one!
